Yet, unknown to his captors, Graviton has tapped into the mysterious power of dark matter, an imperceptible force that courses through the cosmos. With this newfound ability, he disrupts his cell, initiating a seismic uprising. As the prison walls crumble, the chaos spreads to the cells of his fellow villains. The Masters of Evil, long confined by S.H.I.E.L.D., seize this moment of chaos and join Graviton's uprising. The fate of the world is in your hands.
Graviton - Dark Matter is a fan-made scenario for Marvel Champions LCG, featuring Graviton and providing the Dark Matter modular set. It consists of 27 cards, 21 from the Graviton set itself and 6 from the Dark Matter set. Graviton's control of the force of gravity will force you to exhaust more than you wish, while he slowly but surely converts into a black hole.
Graviton
is a formidable foe. Not only does he bring the heroes and their allies to their knees when he enters a
new stage
, but he also needs to be knocked out hard, else what should have been a finishing blow might not finish him.
His transfornation into a
Black Hole
may be slow, but it seems inoxerable, forcing you to exhaust characters to prevent him from advancing. The encounter deck may fly faster than expected as Graviton gets stronger.
Graviton gets his newly regained strength from
Dark Matter
, a permanent setup card that will start the game in play and delay the readiness of your assets (or increase their cost).
As if it was not enough, when breaking free from his
prison
, other prisoners were set free and wil confront you if you let Graviton
set them free
.
You'll have to make sure Graviton doesn't attract the
Moon
too close, bringing destruction on Earth, or connects to the
Sun
, with such a strong gravity field Graviton would likely become unbeatable. And while the
city collapses
, you'll need to be wary of his pure power, especially his
blast
that can easily leave you defenseless.
